"As other reviewers have said this jacket leaks along all of the seams. During an atmospheric river rainstorms my husband gets soaked if he takes the dog on a walk wearing this jacket. The attached pictures show the inside of the jackets and the water coming in along the seams after a walk during just a normal Vancouver rain day."

"I bought this for its excellent styling and promise of rain protection only to find that it DOES NOT keep you dry, despite the relatively high price. The staff at the Vancouver store on Robson were excellent and exchanged it for another one in the hope that it was just a manufacturing issue 9maybe missing waterproof tape on the seams as quality product has). Unfortunately not - the new one had the same issue. It leaks through the seams regardless of the intensity of the rain (check out the photos for just how wet you get in a light Vancouver rain. . . ). I bought seam sealer to make this work but looks terrible. Bottom line - While you may like the style, if you want an actual raincoat that keeps you dry, a garbage bag would be better, and cheaper. So disappointing."

"I got this just in time to keep in my car for soccer practises and atmospheric rivers. Must layer as does not keep you warm, but I paired it with a nice Herschel toque! I like the snaps and the sleeves snap tighter, the deep open exterior pockets work well, the hood was too big and front heavy, falls over my eyes so I can't see unless I flip the peak insert inside the hood for added stiffness and rest it on the top of my head/forehead/toque/hoodie. Otherwise great to have a stylish raincoat for the wet west coast winters."
"The Long Classic Rain Jacket (Men’s) from Herschel Supply Co. is a solid, well-made piece that does exactly what it’s designed to do. The material feels durable and high quality, the fit is clean and modern, and it does a great job keeping rain and wind out without feeling bulky. It’s lightweight, easy to layer, and works well for everyday city wear. The fit runs slightly on the bigger side, but this actually works in its favor—especially if you plan on layering it over a hoodie or sweater. It provides enough room without looking sloppy, making it practical for cooler, wet days. That said, there are a couple of areas where this jacket could be even better. I wish the men’s version were slightly longer—similar to the women’s cut—to provide more coverage down the legs, especially in heavier rain. Additionally, the absence of side hand pockets is noticeable; having pockets to keep hands warm or dry would significantly improve comfort and practicality. Overall, it’s a great rain jacket for what it is: stylish, functional, and well constructed. With a bit more length and the addition of hand pockets, it would be nearly perfect."
