"Really happy with this backpack. It's a bit big for my 5 year old going into grade one, but he loves it and will have no issues getting everything to and from school every day. Appears well made and the pattern is really cute. Just sad there isn't a matching lunch bag!"
"Vibrant colours, great, varied & fun colour & pattern options, easy to use & substantial zippers, & well built & secured straps are awesome! The there have been cutbacks to the interior of the bag though since I started purchasing this model of Herschel bag about six years ago, which is dissapointing (we own five Herschel backpacks, four of which are the Heritage Backpack). The bags used to be fully lined & lightly padded, & the functional feature that I really miss is a sewn in lanyard/ clip for keys/ other small items one wants to secure. (I’ve made it work by safety pinning a carabiner in to the bag, but it’s a feature that used to be included in this model of bag, & one that is present is so many lesser quality bags as well, so it feels like a misstep that it is no longer present in the Youth Heritage Backpacks.) Overall, we still love these bags though, & I have found them to be hands down the best school backpacks for our three young children (ages 5-10). Thank you Herschel : )"
"I ordered two backpacks, but I received only one. I contacted the company about the missing backpack, but I have not received any response or feedback. Very disappointed with the customer service and the way this issue has been handled. I hope the company will resolve this problem and send the missing backpack or provide a refund. The backpack itself is good quality and I’m happy with it."
